Vessel | short film

Featured on NOWNESS - Vessel follows a young boy and his mother into the abyss. Directed by Mimi Cave of Doomsday, Mimi is known for making high-energy music videos for everyone from Detroit rapper Danny Brown to New England folk-pop band Tune-Yards. Mimi takes her love of movement into a surreal realm where the line between imagination and reality begins to break down.

Vessel is tale of trust, imagination, fear and danger. It is a snapshot of two vivid characters: Jane and her son Sidney. As the night lights up with wild moments, Jane's lucidity descends, making their journey all the more fragile.” - Mimi Cave
